How to Clear Browser History in Safari

Safari browser allows its users to safely remove all records of their browsing history according to the time period. If Safari is turned on in iCloud preferences, then the records will be removed from Mac as well as other devices.

Deleting Browser History in Safari

Browsing on iPhone or iPad will definitely lead to a lot history. You can delete browser history manually from Safari by following the steps below:

1.Launch the Safari browser and click on the History tab. It is located in the top menu.

2.Choose Clear History and Website Data and select the time range you wish to clear. This ranges from ‘All History’ to ‘Last Hour’.

3.Click on Clear History and all is done.

On an iPhone or iPad:

  • Go to Settings and tap on Safari.
  • In Safari Settings click on Clear History and Website Data at the end.
  • A warning that says all your history, cookies, and other browsing data will be cleared from the devices that are signed into your iCloud account.
  • Just tap on Clear History and Data and that’s it. 

Just follow these simple steps and the browser history in Safari will be swiped clean.
